The Bridge Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing training and coaching for the parents, grandparents, and other caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorders. The Bridge Center is committed to working in partnership with families to inspire and enable children with developmental challenges to enter a world of relationships and learning.
The Bridge Center's staff encourages parent/child interactions and supports parents as they learn about their child's unique, sensory processing profile and functional/emotional developmental level. Parents engage in an interactive intervention program known as the P.L.A.Y. Project® Home Consultation Model developed by Richard Solomon, MD, and based on the developmental principles of the DIR®/Floortime™ model developed by Drs. Stanley Greenspan and Serena Wieder.
